Servicing and
Mailing:
Rive Video Promotion selects a specific list of video outlets that will be
serviced with
your music video. The clip is mailed to these programs directly
from our offices to coordinate with air dates
set by us and the management/label.
All Production quality masters will be sent to every programmer along with
a
One sheet, BIO, CD, and any other merchandise provided by the label.
Regional
Video Programs:
Programs that reach one or more cities, including additional clubs, pools and
Internet sites. These select shows are solid programs that in many cases have
worked with Rive Video for
years. Many of which contribute to video airplay
charts.
New Media
Outlets:
Yahoo, myspace.com, AOL music, Blank TV, UGO, Google video, Rollingstone.com,
Mania TV,
ifilm.com, SingingFool.com, MTV.com, MTVU.com, Fuse.tv, Cnet Download,
Music Plus, loudside.com, and
Blastro.com are a few of the sites Rive Video
works with. In most cases, Rive will encode the video at our
location and upload
the video directly onto the site. This process can cut your lead time by
weeks.
Pools (Closed Circuit Retail Systems):
A Video Pool is a
subscriber-based music video service. Pools distribute a
monthly varying format compilation reel to music
industry professionals, business
owners and retail operations in need of video programming.
Closed
Circuit means,
as the name implies, a system in which the circuit is closed and all the elements
are
directly connected. This is unlike broadcast television where any receiver
that is correctly tuned can pick up
the signal from the airwaves. Closed Circuit
outlets tend to target specific businesses including both retail
and restaurant
type establishments.
Video Pools and Closed Circuit providers distribute their
reels to thousands of locations including:
- Music retail outlets including
Transworld, Virgin Mega
Stores, Best Buy, Tower, FYE, etc.

including: Boot Factory, Boot Country,
Rent-A-Center, RentWay, Sears, Nordstrom,

Carribean)/
